Okie dokie.
So the first one, yes, in the book it was Alice who said it, but in the film Rosalie said it, but I think it worked really well, because she sort of snarled it, said it with a vengance, and I think it would have worked either way.
Alice and Bella's decision, and this is just how I interpreted it - Alice would have been so preoccupied watching Victoria on behalf of Rosalie and Esme back in Forks and James' changing decisions she would have just missed Bella's decision. And it took so long for Alice and Jasper to get there, because if you look, as Bella leaves the hotel, it is evening, so the sun was still out, although when she reached the studio it was night. And they would have had to wait around for Edward, Carlisle and Emmett, as back up.
I'm guessing Edward beat them there because as soon as they arrived, Edward left, and Edward, as James put it, was "faster than the others."
As for hearing her on the phone, that baffles me. I think Meyer just didn't think about that when she wrote the book, because after all, she was only going to write Twilight as a single book.
As for the Victoria/James bond, it does mention somewhere in the book that Edward says he did pick up on their bond, but he just didn't realise the strength of it. In the film, it was made obvious that James and Victoria were mates, but the fact was just never vocalised by any of the characters.
Well, those are the conclusions I came to, anyway
